Overview

Join our select group for a trip to the winter wonderland that is Yellowstone National Park. It’s an adventure you’ll never forget…Featuring stays at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Fly to Bozeman Montana. Lunch is hosted before traveling to Gardiner situated at the North entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Ridgeline Hotel (L)

Day 2

Enter the incredible landscape of Yellowstone National Park. Winter is a special time to visit Yellowstone. Deep snow in the high country pushes the wildlife down to lower elevations. Today we explore the famed Lamar Valley on a wildlife tour. Elk, bison, coyotes and fox are some of the animals we are looking for but our big prize here is to spot wolf packs. Day 3

Today we travel south to Old Faithful. Sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery in comfort, as you are move easily across the snow in custom snow coaches chauffeured by an experienced guide. Along the way learn about the park’s history, walk thermal basins viewing geysers and hot springs. Your accommodations for the evening are just steps away from the famous geyser. Old Faithful Snow Lodge – 2 nights (B,L)

Day 4

Today enjoy a free day to walk the Old Faithful geyser basin and spend time in the visitor’s center. For (extra cost) rent snowshoes / cross-country ski’s and head off on your own adventure or join a guided walk. (B)​​​​​​​

Day 5

Depart the park for West Yellowstone. Lunch is hosted before a visit to The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. The Center is home for grizzly bears from as far away as Alaska. Each bear and its story are unique, but they all have something in common; they came to reside here after becoming nuisance bears or orphaned cubs of a nuisance bear. Day 6

Travel south through Idaho crossing the Grand Teton Mountains to the town of Jackson. Lunch is hosted before taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride among an elk herd numbering in the thousands at the National Elk Refuge. Wort Hotel (B,L)​​​​​​​

Day 7

Enjoy a free morning to visit the shops in town before your afternoon flight back to Sacramento. A memorable trip you will not soon forget! (B)​​​​​​​
