Oregon Chocolate Festival
The Sweetest Weekend Ever
The Oregon Chocolate Festival is turning Sweet Sixteen in 2020 and we’re going to help them celebrate by taking you on the sweetest weekend ever! Purveyors and makers of all things chocolate gather in Ashland for their annual Chocolate Festival weekend. While there is some serious competition going on between the artisans for the various “Best In” product categories, there is also some serious confection shopping to be done by you! Browse and sample to your chocolate-loving heart’s delight at the various booths showcasing every kind of chocolate confection imaginable!
We will attend the very elegantly presented Chocolate Maker’s Dinner on Friday night where the Chef will cleverly include something chocolate in each of the three courses he prepares. A carefully selected wine is paired with each course. If a fancy-schmancy three-course dinner is not your thing, this year you can opt out (Please advise at time of booking to receive $65 credit). There are a variety of restaurants in downtown Ashland for you to choose from if you opt out of the fabulous dinner. A visit to Harry & David Country Village in Medford and a stop at Granzella’s in Williams is also included.
Yes, Ashland is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and though it is their off-season, they will be offering an (indoor) play or two. If you are interested in seeing a play on Saturday night there will be an additional cost. We will have show and pricing information in late October.
