Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Our door-to-door transportation service brings you to the Sports Leisure Vacations office where you will board our comfortable motor coach and begin your sweet journey north. There will be a lunch stop in Redding before arriving in Ashland where you will check-in to your hotel, centrally located in the heart of downtown. You'll have time to freshen up or explore the town before dinner. The kick-off event for the festival is the elegant Chocolate Makers Dinner. Each year a chef creates special dishes for this three-course dinner which includes wine pairings from local wineries. If super-fancy wining and dining is not your thing, you can opt out and have dinner - just let us know when you make your reservation. Ashland Springs Hotel – 2 nights (L,D)
Day 2
A Chocolate Brunch is yours to enjoy this morning at the Ashland Hills Hotel, home of the Chocolate Vendors Showcase. You'll have access to the showcase after brunch. We will have shuttle service available between the hotels giving you the opportunity to have lunch and shop downtown if you wish. Tonight, we're off to the Oregon Cabaret Theater for dinner and a performance (to be announced). (BR,D)
Day 3
Just a short ride from Ashland is Medford, home of Harry and David Country Village. While Harry and David are known for their mail order fruit service this store is stocked with a variety of goods including snacks, fresh fruit, jellies and jams, and an extensive wine selection. As we head home, we'll make a scenic stop at the Sundial Bridge in Redding and have lunch at a local restaurant. (B,L)
