Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Fly to Bozeman Montana and travel to Yellowstone National Park’s North Entrance to Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel. (D)

Day 2

Enter the incredible landscape of Yellowstone National Park. Winter is an amazing time to visit Yellowstone as deep snow in the high country pushes the wildlife down to lower elevations. Today we travel south to Old Faithful. Sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery in comfort, as you are moved easily across the frozen terrain in custom Snow Coaches chauffeured by an experienced guide. Along the way learn about the park’s history and walk thermal basins viewing geysers and hot springs. Your accommodations for the evening are just steps away from the famous geyser. Old Faithful Snow Lodge – 2 nights (B,L,D)

Day 3

This morning, we Snow Coach over the Continental Divide to Yellowstone Lake and explore the West Thumb geyser basin. The afternoon is free to walk the Old Faithful geyser basin and spend time in the Visitors Center. For an extra cost you can join a guided walk or rent snowshoes or cross-country skis and head off on your own adventure! (B)

Day 4

Travel north returning to Mammoth, stopping for walks and photos along the way, arriving in the late afternoon. Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel – 2 nights (B,L)

Day 5

Today we explore the famed Lamar Valley on a wildlife tour. Elk, bison, moose, coyotes and fox are some of the animals we may see along the way. (B,L)
