25th Annual Christmas Mystery Tour

This is, without any doubt, one of the most sought after reservations on the tour calendar each year. Only 32 can go. To many, the concept of buying a vacation where you don't know where you are going is…..beyond ridiculous. But to those travelers who have been many, many places, and would like a place that is new, or at least new at Christmas, is an attractive concept. To give you an idea….last year, we went to the Richmond-Virginia Beach-Norfolk area of Virginia. We saw lights on the beach and on a battleship, and got caught in a bit of snow in Richmond. But I think most who joined us had a great time. The year before, we went to Grapevine, Texas. The trip was so popular, we are repeating it this year as a known destination (see it in these pages). We went to Minnesota the year before that. Gosh that was cold!

So where are we going this year? Here are some clues: If Santa had his choice, he would no doubt vacation here with Ms. Claus and the elves on a regular basis. Music is in the air, perhaps Christmas tunes from classic instruments. Is that a Christmas parade? But where is the snow? There's a night at the theater watching a Christmas tradition unfold, and a fancy holiday tea. The market on Broadway and the lights at the temple are not to be missed. And look, it's already time to go to the airport and head for home…
