Day 3

Journey to Temecula for a day rich in craft and flavor. Discover the 600-year art of soap making, enjoy a fragrant olive oil tasting and then indulge in a unique winery experience at Wilson Creek Winery. Taste a variety of vintages with your winemaker host, including their famously delightful Almond Champagne, a sparkling treat you won't find just anywhere. (B,L)

Day 4

Begin your day in the breathtaking Carlsbad Flower Fields, 55 acres of vibrant ranunculus in full bloom. Step into the magical Butterfly Experience for an up-close encounter with these delicate beauties, then continue to Old Town San Diego for lunch and a little time for personal exploration of the historic sites and appealing shops. Return to Sacramento in the late afternoon with hearts full, spirits lifted and memories made. (B,L)
