Daily Itinerary
Day 1.
Your coastal adventure begins with a convenient direct flight, touching down mid-morning in the heart of California’s Riviera. From there, head to the Public Market for free time to eat and explore, then settle into two relaxing nights at your charming hotel. Located just steps from the ocean, palm-lined views and tropical breezes will welcome you at every turn. Taste the bounty of the region at tonight’s Welcome Dinner. Harbor View Hotel – 2 nights (D)
Day 2.
Embark on a guided journey through the historic streets of Santa Barbara before heading into the rolling hills of Santa Ynez Valley. Savor a lunch and wine tasting at Vega Vineyards, a true farm-to-fork experience, then continue on for a stroll through the storybook town of Solvang, where Danish pastries and quaint boutiques await. Yes, we’re talking about those irresistible Æbleskivers, melt-in-your-mouth Danish pancakes! (Ironically, their name means “apple slices,” though they rarely contain apples today.) (FB,L)
Day 3.
On your final morning, dive into the city’s seafaring past at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, where ocean exploration and adventure come to life. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a beloved local spot before heading the place where the city began, Mission Santa Barbara. Known as “The Queen of the Missions,” the community, founded in 1786, was the seat of Franciscan evangelism and symbol of Spanish rule in early California. Then you’re off to the airport refreshed, sun-drenched and ready to go on your next adventure. (FB,L)
