Day 1

Gather at the Sports Leisure Vacations office and meet your fellow travelers before settling in for a comfortable ride bound for the sparkling shores of Avila Beach. Enjoy a wonderful champagne brunch in the Bay Area before passing through the fertile Salinas Valley – nicknamed the “Salad Bowl of the World” – where endless fields and crops stretch toward the horizon. Day 2

Morro Bay welcomes you with its iconic centerpiece – Morro Rock, the final and most dramatic of nine ancient volcanic peaks that begin in San Luis Obispo. Rising 576 feet above the harbor’s entrance, this striking landmark is a natural wonder. Your visit includes a delightful lunch cruise aboard the Chablis, a distinctive 50-foot, two-story riverboat that glides gracefully through the calm waters of Morro Bay Harbor. Step inside its elegantly appointed interior with panoramic windows or head up to the rooftop deck for sweeping views of the bay, the rock and the surrounding coastline. (B,L)

Day 3

Step back in time with a private tour of the historic Point San Luis Lighthouse Park. Stroll the grounds, explore the beautifully preserved lighthouse and take in sweeping views of the rugged coast. Lunch is included, making this a day of both rich history and coastal charm. The afternoon is free to enjoy your hotel, the beach, and town. (B,L)

Day 4

Take a scenic drive through the rolling vineyards of the Edna Valley. Pause for some browsing time in the charming town of Arroyo Grande. Tonight gather for a special dinner oceanside, as you watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean! (B,L,D)

Day 5

Bid farewell to the ocean as you journey inland. Stop for a final hosted lunch before visiting the famous Casa de Fruta, where you can browse fresh produce and treats to take home. Arrive back in the early evening with memories of the Central Coast’s beauty, flavors and stories. (B,L)
