Day 2

Discover Boston’s history with a local guide. Walk through Harvard Yard to the famous Old North Church, then from Paul Revere’s home to the site of the (in)famous Tea Party with free time for lunch in Cambridge. Tour historic downtown by motorcoach and ride the iconic Swan Boats in service since 1877 in Boston Common. Dinner is included tonight at Dovetail Restaurant. (FB, D)

Day 3

Have a morning visit to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library before boarding the high-speed ferry for a 90-minute afternoon cruise to Provincetown. Enjoy a one-hour dunes tour before checking in at your waterfront hotel. Dinner is included at Top Mast Restaurant. Surfside Hotel – 2 nights (FB, D)

Day 4

Tour by trolley to discover the rich history and unique flair of this “end of the road” community. Before lunch enjoy the variety of shops and galleries that make Provincetown so unique. Lunch is included at Mayflower Café followed by a walk to MacMillan Wharf to join a naturalist on a whale watching expedition. These waters are generally ripe with the gentle mammals as they feed and frolic in the blue Atlantic. (B, L)

Day 5

On the southeast end of the Cape pass through small New England villages arriving in Hyannis. Take time for lunch and browsing before visiting a museum focusing on JFK’s life and the mystique of Camelot. Tonight, it’s time for a LOBSTA DINNER! Hyannis Harbor Hotel (B, D)

Day 6

Arrive on Martha’s Vineyard by ferry for a narrated van tour, then continue to Nantucket on the inter-island ferry where you’ll stay two-nights at the island’s finest accommodations. A complimentary shuttle service is available from the hotel into the village every hour for your free-time pleasure. Dinner is included both nights. Nantucket Inn – 2 nights (FB, D)

Day 7

One of the nation’s oldest communities, Nantucket has a fascinating story to tell. Explore the island and learn of the history and importance of whaling, once the island’s main industry. After the tour you are free in town for lunch. Visit the Whaling Museum and do a little window shopping. Just be sure to return to the inn in time for dinner! (B, D)

Day 8

Depart Nantucket by morning ferry to Hyannis, then board the coach for a leisurely ride back to Boston’s Navy Shipyard for a tour of the legendary USS Constitution and Museum before heading to Boston Logan Airport for your return flight to the West Coast. (B, L)
