The Traveler

The world is slowly but surely coming back to life, and we’re right there with it. The Sports Leisure Vacations team is hard at work moving summer, autumn and holiday tours from the we-hope-it-might-go to the we’re-pretty-certain-it’s-going-to-go phase. There are still many questions, most notably when the Canadian border will reopen. Just know we are monitoring this situation – and many others – on a daily and in some cases hourly basis, doing everything in our power to make decisions based on sound judgment and expert advice.

With warmer weather around the corner, the slowing of COVID infections and the introduction of vaccines, we're feeling optimistic! Inside this newsletter, learn about upcoming tours and new requirements for traveling with Sports Leisure.

We’ve operated quite a few tours since Pass the Corn Nuts broke our long fast in late August and many more are planned over the next few months. In the interest of confidence and safety you’ll see they are mostly confined to our region and operating by motorcoach. We have high hopes to resume interstate air travel next year!

Look inside these pages for a number of exciting new day trips – now dubbed Daycations – starting in late August, as well as new holiday adventures from one to multi-day! You’ll also find your first chance to sign up for a reimagined Vacation Preview Day on October 30-31.

Sports Leisure staff continue to dream and create new experiences for the future. One day we will travel again, and when the time comes, Sports Leisure will be ready with exciting new looks at some familiar, close-to-home destinations.
