Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Fly to Vancouver direct from Sacramento. Late lunch is followed by a city tour to acquaint you with the history and beauty of this fabulous waterfront city. Hotel TBA - 2 nights (L)
Day 2
Spend the day on Granville Island. Famous for its indoor Public Market, you'll have time to check out the fascinating and colorful selection of food and produce, along with handcrafted products and unique gifts. Lunch is on your own there. Later this evening we will embark on a Sunset Dinner Cruise on the harbor to take in the city lights. (D)
Day 3
Take a mid-morning ferry to Victoria, BC's charming Capital City located on Vancouver Island. A guided tour of the Parliament Building is followed by an unrivaled local tradition: High Tea at the Empress Hotel. After tea the Royal BC Museum welcomes you with three permanent installations as well as special traveling exhibitions. Your all-suite hotel is located in the heart of downtown with museums, shops, and bustling waterfront within easy walking distance. Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites - 2 nights (HT)
Day 4
No trip to Victoria is complete without a day at world-famous Butchart Gardens. Lunch is served onsite at their Blue Poppy Restaurant. Take your time strolling through the magnificent and colorful blooms, and see how many of the five unique garden environments you can visit. Don't forget to leave time for their amazing gift shop, by far the best in town! (L)
Day 5
This morning is your chance to take one last stroll along the waterfront, find that last-minute gift, perhaps even a treat for yourself (Rogers', the superb local chocolate confectioner, is not to be missed!), or simply relax in your comfortable hotel suite. Head to the airport at midday for the return flight home.
