Daily Itinerary

Day 1

A 7am Alaska Airlines flight takes you non-stop flight to Seattle, arriving at 9am. The Museum of Flight fills the morning. It is the largest independent, non-profit air and space museum in the world! With over 175 aircraft and spacecraft, tens of thousands of artifacts and more, a host of aviation history and the industry's future, are packed in this museum.

After lunch at Anthony's, in Des Moines, enjoy a tour of Seattle Chocolate, with time to pick up "take home" items.

Sightseers have the evening free at the Embassy Suites (check in at 4pm). The hotel offers oversized rooms, has a restaurant, offers complimentary cocktails each evening and there are other dining choices within a short walk.

Baseball fans will ride our coach to the park, 15 minutes away, for the 7:10pm game and return to the hotel after the game. Embassy Suites Seatac - 3 nights (L)

Day 2

There is an optional 8:30am departure this morning for those wishing to have time at famous Pike Place Market. A second departure is scheduled an hour later for non-market goers. The Chihuly (Sculpture) Garden & Glass (Museum), is one of the city's top attractions. Your early arrival allows you to see the highlights before the crowds arrive.

Baseball fans will peel off at noon and attend the Giants-Mariners game starting at 1:10pm. Sightseers will have an included lunch at Ivar's Salmon House  and then take a ride to the top of the Space Needle for panoramic views of Seattle and Puget Sound (weather permitting). Both groups return to the hotel approximately 5pm. (FB - all,L - sightseers only)

Day 3

Head into the Cascade Mountains just east of town this morning for a private Sunday Brunch at the Salish Lodge, served in a room with a view. There's also a side trip to view Snoqualmie Falls. Returning to town, our baseball fans have a 1pm date at the ballpark. Our sightseers head for West Seattle, for a look at tour featuring beaches and some trendy shopping spots on the sound.

Our group gathers together tonight for dinner at Sharp's Roadhouse, a famous for their barbeque and salmon. (BR,D)

Day 4

After breakfast, our guide will take us through downtown Seattle and give us an overview of the city's colorful history. Did you know it has an underground? There was/is an entire city beneath where you walk today. At noon, board the boat Argosy Cruises' trip through the Seattle locks. It's described as "over 120 years of history in 120 minutes." Because it falls over the lunch hour, a box lunch will be offered on board.

Our return flight departs just before 6pm, arriving in Sacramento just after 8pm. (FB,L)

The Tour Package includes airfare (currently Alaska Airlines), baggage fees for one bag per person, 3 nights hotel, all transportation, 6/7 meals (depends on if you are a sightseer or baseball fan) and attractions as described, gratuities for non-Sports Leisure driver/guides, home pick-up in the greater Sacramento area.
