The Dream Inn has been a part of the Santa Cruz beach landscape since it opened in the early 70’s. It quickly became THE PLACE to stay primarily because it’s so close to the Santa Cruz Wharf and the popular Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It’s been recently remodeled and walking into its retro-chic lobby immediately reminds you that you are near the beach.
Still not convinced? How about waking up both mornings (promise not to rush you), to the sound of the ocean, with the Beach Boardwalk and Santa Cruz Wharf in sight? Also worth mentioning is that this is a no-fly trip, meaning we’ll be traveling in the comfort of our deluxe motor coach
This year the cast of the Santa Cruz Follies (all over 50 years young) will present “It’s A Good Day for Singing a Song”. They’ve been singing, dancing and entertaining folks for over 60 years with an all volunteer cast. A fun and informative docent-guided tour of Santa Cruz and time to shop in nearby Capitola round out your three days of sun in this popular beachside resort town.
Included: lunches at Porter’s Restaurant at the Poppy Ridge Golf Club in Livermore and the Crow’s Nest in Santa Cruz, and dinner with a sunset ocean view at our hotel.
We’ve replaced the canceled Follies Show with visits to either the Seymour Marine Discovery Center, a community-supported marine science education center of the UC Santa Cruz or the nearby Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Exploration Center, featuring state-of-the-art exhibits and interactive displays highlighting the sanctuary and its incredible underwater environment. A docent-guided tour of Santa Cruz with one of the city’s native sons and time to shop in nearby Capitola round out your three days of sun and relaxation in this popular beachside resort town.
