Moulin Rouge! The Musical is a jukebox extravaganza based on Baz Luhrmann's 2001 film, telling the story of a young American writer, Christian, who falls in love with Satine, a star performer at the famous Paris nightclub, the Moulin Rouge. Their "star-crossed" romance is challenged by secrets, a greedy Duke, and the struggle to save the bankrupt club, all set against the opulent and decadent backdrop of Paris during the Belle Epoque era. The show is known for its dazzling spectacle, energetic choreography, and its eclectic soundtrack of pop hits.
