The Pageant of the Masters is the Festival of the Arts' crown jewel and arguably one of the most unique productions in the entire world. An outdoor amphitheater, professional orchestra, original score, live narration, intricate sets and hundreds of dedicated volunteers will present this year's Pageant: "Al a Mode: The Art of Fashion". Difficult to describe - you have to see it to believe it!

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival in Southern California, head to Anaheim for lunch at the Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio in Downtown Disney. There will be time for wandering the shops "downtown" before heading to the hotel, wonderfully located only five minutes from upscale shopping and a wide variety of restaurants.Hilton Hotel Orange County/Costa Mesa – 2 nights (L)

Day 2

It's always a plus when the itinerary can include a visit to a Presidential Library/Museum. Located in Yorba Linda on land that President Nixon's family once owned, his library was dedicated in July 1990. The facility has a full scale, exact replica of President Nixon's Oval Office that guests can enter and interact within. A guided tour will offer insight on his life and his presidency.

Late in the afternoon Laguna Beach awaits. it's time to immerse yourself in the Festival of the Arts with a docent-led tour followed by dinner on the Festival grounds at Terra Restaurant. A bit later in the evening comes The Pageant of the Masters under the stars, where art comes to life. We have reserved loge seating in the open air theater. (FB,D)

Day 3

Return to the Festival of the Arts grounds this morning to meet a representative from the Pageant and learn more about the behind-the-scenes aspect of this amazing production. Lunch is included nearby before a late afternoon flight home to Sacramento. (FB,L)
