Day 1.
Your beach getaway to Santa Cruz begins with door-to-door pick up at your home. The driver will take you to the Sports Leisure office where we will meet prior to the motor coach departure. After lunch we arrive at our oceanfront accommodations. We'll cap off the day with a group dinner and a toast to our relaxing, refreshing journey ahead. Dream Inn - 2 nights (L,D)
Day 2.
After a leisurely morning breakfast at the hotel, we head into the Santa Cruz mountains to the Roaring Camp Railroad. The Redwood Forest Steam Train will take us through towering groves of giant redwoods and ancient trees. Lunch on your own follows in the vibrant and colorful town of Capitola. You day concludes with a dinner at The Crow's Nest. (B,D)
Day 3.
On your final morning, you have one last chance to savor the seaside views from the hotel before we make our way back to Sacramento. We'll stop for lunch at Poppy Ridge, a tasteful spot in the hills of Livermore with panoramic views of the golf course and surrounding vines. Our last stop will be a sweet one - Ghirardelli Chocolate in Lathrop. (Spoiler alert! They have an ice cream shop too!) We can't think of a better way to end your dreamy seaside retreat. (B,L)
