Winter at the Majestic Ahwahnee

This trip is a Sports Leisure Vacations’ favorite! And the focus is all about the Ahwahnee Hotel…recently re-named The Majestic Yosemite Hotel. Enjoy brunch in the grand dining room, and spend one night in what Stephen Mather, first Director of the National Park Service, called the Grand Dame of National Park hotels.

Daily Itinerary

Sports Leisure travelers in YosemiteDay 2

Exploring the valley during the winter is very different than during other times of the year; perhaps you will wake up to a fresh dusting of snow. Learn more about winter in Yosemite and enjoy the spectacular views as you explore from one end of the valley to the other from the comfort of a heated coach with a local guide this morning. There is time for lunch on your own in the valley; then enjoy a brief stop at the Hilmar Cheese Company before returning home.

We do not share specific pickup information on our website, as we have found over the years that other travel groups tend to use our pickup points without ours or the property owner's permission, which reflects poorly on our company and hurts our ability to offer convenient pickup points to our clients. Accordingly, we ask that you not suggest our pickup points to other groups you travel with, as "the more the merrier" does not often apply to parking lots. Your understanding is appreciated.
