Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Soar above Seattle’s busy streets on the iconic monorail, built for the 1962 World’s Fair, right to the base of the Space Needle. From 605 feet above, take in panoramic views of Puget Sound, the Cascades and Olympic Mountains. At Chihuly Garden and Glass, internationally acclaimed glass artist Dale Chihuly’s energetic and whimsical work blends harmoniously with nature. Lunch features local Pacific Northwest fare. In seaside Mukilteo you’ll tour the quaint lighthouse before dinner with a view. Silver Cloud Inn Mukilteo – 2 nights (L,D)

Day 2

Visit two working flower farms that are equally beautiful, but each unique. Hear the story of friendship and perseverance of Tulip Town’s new owners, truly inspirational. If you wish you can order bulbs from 25 varieties of tulips and shop locally made products and handicrafts. RoozenGaarde is a larger commercial operation with ribbons of color stretching across the valley floor. Keep your camera handy to snap that perfect profile picture or your next Christmas card! Lunch is in LaConner, a waterfront artist enclave full of eclectic boutiques. Back in Mukilteo, your evening and dinner are at leisure. Ivar’s, a local institution with award-winning clam chowder, is served next door to your hotel! (FB,L)

Day 3

Today, bus and all will board a Washington State Ferry to Whidbey Island where it’s all things chocolate! Indulge yourself at Sweet Mona’s. Marionberry truffles, anyone? Next, visit a one-of-a-kind boutique featured on HGTV offering a vast array of chocolate-infused products such as jams, tea and scented candles. On Blueberry Hill overlooking the harbor, Chef Gordon will whip up a lunch you won’t soon forget. Sail back to the mainland to catch your early evening flight home. (FB,L)
