Generally games are during the day, but increasingly teams are scheduling games under the lights. We won’t know how many day/night games are on our itinerary until the schedule is finalized.
We have some dining traditions on this trip. Many of us come every year, or on a regular basis, and we have a couple of favorites. Dine one evening at Rustler’s Roost, a fun, cowboy-style eatery with a great view of the Valley of the Sun from its porch. Sunday Brunch is at the Wrigley Mansion. Mr. Wrigley was one of the “inventors” of Spring Training, and dining at the mansion is really a treat.
Guest Speakers – One morning and one evening, we invite a former player, coach, manager, umpire or current team official to speak to our group after a private dinner.
We always have great story-tellers to tickle your baseball fancy.
Beautifully refurbished Marriott Hotel – We have a convenient location between all eight parks, just north of the airport. No park is more than an hour from our headquarters.
Enjoy a great buffet breakfast every morning (except Sunday) at the Marriott.
The package includes 7 meals, roundtrip air to/from Phoenix, 4 nights at the Marriott, game tickets in premium (and generally shaded) locations, the services of a Sports Leisure Tour Director.
