Southern California is host to two of our nation’s presidential libraries. In this quick getaway vacation, visit both the Richard M. Nixon and the Ronald Reagan Libraries. The Huntington Library, repository for rare and exquisite works is an added attraction.

Daily Itinerary

We take a late morning flight to Southern California arriving in time for lunch at world-famous Philippe’s “French Dipped Sandwich” shop.

Then a short drive to Yorba Linda and visit the Richard M. Nixon Library and Museum which features 22 unique venues that tell the story of the Nixon Presidency. The library is filled with multimedia and interactive exhibits, plus several permanent galleries in the “Wave of Change” which covers a period of great upheaval throughout the 1960’s and during the months leading up to the November 1968 presidential election. The journey through his story ends with Richard Nixon’s post-presidency period and his contributions as elder statesman, and his impact on American culture. Check into your hotel. Then it’s off to dinner at the White House, the Anaheim White House Restaurant, that is. The Anaheim White House is a long-time Sports Leisure favorite. LA Hilton North/Glendale –
