Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Fly to Albuquerque arriving in the early afternoon. The Standard Diner, featured by Food Network star Guy Fieri, is your lunch spot. Cruise iconic Route 66 right through the heart of downtown to Old Town Albuquerque. Shop the numerous eclectic boutiques, or just grab an ice cream cone and listen to the soothing music of pan-flutes. At the San Felipe de Neri Parish, dating back to the early 1700s, take a moment for reflection. Day 2 

This morning a trolley tour will acquaint you with the town. Take notes and make your plan of action to browse the unique boutiques and galleries. Afterwards, learn the history of Santa Fe during a guided tour of the Palace of the Governors. Beautiful Native American-made jewelry and pottery are on display by the artisans just outside the door and are available for purchase. Enjoy free time in the plaza or an optional visit to the Georgia O’ Keefe Museum. Tonight’s dinner is at La Casa Sena, a local favorite, featuring upscale imaginative Southwestern cuisine. (FB,D)

Visit New Mexico’s one-of-a-kind Capitol Building to view the extensive art collection before heading into the Chama River Valley. Small villages, winding desert rivers and red rock bluffs inspired the “Mother of American Modernism,” Georgia O’Keefe. Visit Ghost Ranch where many of her works were created and the picturesque village of Abiquiu. Enjoy a lunch full of local flavor. Pause to take in the peacefulness at the Santuario de Chimayo, a famous healing shrine. You’ll be captivated by the stunning scenery and rich stories told by the landscape. Day 4

Today is yours to enjoy as you wish! Stroll through the central plaza, lose yourself in a maze of boutique-lined alleys, join a walking tour along internationally renowned Canyon Road lined with numerous art galleries. Visit one of the four world-class museums on Museum Hill. You choose and we will handle the transportation. Day 5

Travel the Turquoise Trail, named for the signature gem of the Southwest. In funky little Madrid, NM you might just find yourself a little bauble… or two! After lunch soar above rugged mountain peaks on the Sandia Peak Tramway. Have your cameras ready to capture the stunning desert views! At the Pueblo Cultural Center join a docent-guided tour with time for last minute shopping in the fantastic museum shop before your flight home. (FB,L)​​​​​​​
