The Oregon Chocolate Festival is turning 20 next year and we're going to help them celebrate by taking you on the sweetest weekend ever! Purveyors and makers of all things chocolate gather in Ashland for their annual Chocolate Festival weekend. While there is some serious competition going on between the artisans for the various "Best In" product categories, there is also some serious confection shopping to be done by you! Browse and sample to your chocolate-loving heart's delight at the various booths showcasing every kind of chocolate imaginable!



Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Our exclusive transportation service will pick you up at your home and bring you to the Sports Leisure Vacations office where you will board the motor coach and begin the journey north. Stop for lunch in Redding en route to Ashland, Oregon. Freshen up before heading to the Ashland Springs Hotel for the festival’s kick-off event, the elegant Chocolate Makers Dinner with beautifully crafted dishes paired with wine. If fancy wining and dining is not your thing, opt out and have dinner on your own. Ashland Hills Hotel – 2 nights (L,D)

Day 2

Enjoy a relaxing morning visiting the Chocolate Makers Festival at your leisure – the event is at your hotel. There you can sample all things chocolate. Shuttle service will be offered between the hotel/festival and downtown so you can have lunch and browse their many quaint shops and boutiques. Dinner tonight is included at a local restaurant. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival typically offers a play this evening for those who can’t visit Ashland without taking in a show. We will let you know when they announce their schedule and are happy to help you get tickets (optional, additional cost) and even provide transportation. (CB,D)

Day 3

A short ride to Harry and David’s Country Store in Medford affords ample time for sampling and shopping. Back in Ashland we will enjoy a Chocolate Brunch before heading back to Sacramento and your awaiting ride home. Now, wasn’t that The Sweetest Weekend Ever? (BR)
