Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Buffalo, NY for dinner prior to crossing the border. At your hotel, throw back the curtains and relish that incredible view! The thundering falls below will be lighted to welcome you to your Niagara adventure. Get rested up because tomorrow is an exciting day featuring all the signature attractions. Day 2
The Incline Railway delivers you down the hill to the Visitors Center. Descend beneath the bedrock and explore the tunnels of Journey Behind the Falls. The immense volume of water cresting the edge is awe-inspiring, and where the sun meets the water is the most brilliant shade of blue. Breathtaking! Board a cruise past the American and Bridal Veil Falls before sailing right to the base of Horseshoe Falls. Inevitable, you will get wet but that’s the fun of it! Dry off and relax back at your hotel before dinner overlooking the falls. (FB,D)
Day 3
The iconic Floral Clock with its various blooms and colorful foliage create intricate designs. Travel alongside the Niagara River to the upscale resort community of Niagara-on-the-Lake where a wide array of shops await! Maple cookies, maple syrup and maple tea are some signature local products you can find. Lunch on your own is in town before riding the Whirlpool Aero Cars. The river's natural bend creates powerful, swirling rapids below. You have the option for an included visit to the Niagara Butterfly Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Choose decadent cuisine or casual dining for dinner at the hotel restaurant or one of the many eateries only steps away. Create your own experience! (FB)
Day 4
Massive cargo ships circumvent the treacherous rapids between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie in the Welland Canal. You may even see one in the locks. Sample the most renowned product of the Niagara Region, ice wine, with lunch at a local winery. Harvested during the frozen winter months, it is hard work, but the results are worth the effort! Give it a taste and you’ll see! It makes a wonderful gift for family, friends…or yourself! Tonight, do some last minute shopping, dine or kick your feet up and enjoy the stunning view from your room. Day 5
Returning stateside, stop at Niagara Falls State Park to walk along the top of the American and Bridal Veil Falls. Visit East Aurora, NY where America's Arts and Crafts movement began over a century ago. Fly home from Buffalo, NY. (FB)
