Health and Safety Protocols

Effective August 13, 2020

  1. All travelers and staff are required to sign the Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability Agreement printed on the reverse side of the document we will send to you (after you have booked a tour). Please be prepared to return the form to the Tour Director at the start of the first day of travel of any tour.

  2. Masks or face shields must be worn by all travelers and staff whenever the group is gathered – on the motorcoach, inside or outside – unless you are eating or drinking. Masks with ventilators, neck gaiters or bandanas are not acceptable.

  3. The first row of seating on the motorcoach will be unoccupied to provide social distancing during the boarding and disembarkation process, and for the safety of the Tour Director and driver.

  4. Solo travelers will be assigned a seat pair to themselves. Couples will be asked to sit together. Friends traveling with friends may choose either option.

  5. Infrared temperatures will be taken at the start of each day. Those with a temperature higher than 100.6 degrees will not be allowed on the motorcoach.

  6. Hand sanitation is required each time you board the motorcoach. Supplies will be provided or you may use your own in the presence of tour staff.

  7. The Tour Director will frequently wipe down common high-touch surfaces on the motorcoach for your protection. An effort will be made to refresh the interior air at stops whenever possible.

  8. Refreshments served onboard will necessarily be limited to prepackaged/bottled single-serving items.

*In this ever-changing climate these protocols could require adjustment. Your Tour Director will advise you of any changes or additions. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Please Be Safe
Nearly everyone reading this update fits into a higher risk category for the virus.  Be smart, limit your contact with others, encourage other family members to do the same. Because most of us are a little older, this isn’t our first rodeo.  We remember 9-11, the political assassinations in the 60’s and other bumps in the road. It’s up to us to convince the younger folks this is serious business, so we can get through this together.

To view the current cancellations for tours, please see our Impact of Coronavirus and Response page.
