Christmas cookiesDay 1

By way of Seattle, fly to Victoria arriving in the late afternoon. Lunch is waterside in quaint Sidney, a seaside resort town full of boutique shopping and a charming English Sweets shop. You’ll get an assortment of traditional confections from across the pond to take with you. After checking into your all-suite hotel, grab dinner at one of the restaurants at your hotel or one of the many eateries nearby. Chateau Victoria – 3 nights (L)

Butchart gardensDay 2

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel each morning. A narrated driving tour this morning gets you acquainted. Make note of the shops you want to visit! You’ll have free time for lunch on your own and shopping before heading to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Arrive at dusk and enjoy an upscale three-course dinner in the original family home.  Afterwards, stroll through a twinkling holiday wonderland. The 12 Days of Christmas are cheekily represented with lighted displays. Bring your imagination, good cheer, and your camera!  (FB,D)

Christmas tableDay 3

The majestic Legislative Building is your first stop this morning. Look up, up, up at the tree reaching from the first floor into the vast rotunda. After touring, it’s time for a spot of tea, finger sandwiches and decadent petit fours at the famed Empress Hotel! It’s a meal fit for a queen! Learn about early Christmas traditions brought by immigrants at the award-winning Royal B.C. Museum, and stroll the decorated replica streets of Old Town Victoria. Dinner is served atop your hotel overlooking the city with sweeping views of the harbor and surrounding Olympic Mountains (FB,HT,D)

Merry ChristmasDay 4

Each year, artisans from nearby Salt Spring Island bring their wares to sell at a local crafts fair. With unique offerings ranging from textiles, leather goods and specialty food times, you’re sure to find something you must have!
