Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Montreal in time for dinner served at your hotel. Stay just outside the city for easy access to the Laurentian Mountains the next morning. Hilton Laval (D)

Day 2

Go on safari at Parc Omega, home to various North American wildlife including moose, bears and wolves before a hearty farm-to-fork lunch, served right on the farm! Wind through the mountains to Mont Tremblant, a premier resort destination, and get a bird’s eye view of the lush hillside on a cable car ride. Tonight dinner is on your own at one of the many truly Canadian restaurants just steps from your hotel. Residence Inn by Marriott (FB,L)

Day 3

Along the St. Lawrence River’s north shore lies charming Trois Rivières. Lunch is truly Québécoise at a sugar shack, where maple syrup is prominently featured! Learn about the harvesting and production of Canada’s sweetest export before traveling to Charlevoix. Fall colors create a spellbinding setting in the land where the mountains meet the sea! Slow down and enjoy your surroundings staying two nights in a traditional French auberge, a larger bed and breakfast inn where you’ll enjoy delicious home-style meals. Auberge Beausejour – 2 nights (FB,L,D)

Day 4

Put on your stretchy pants and taste your way along Charlevoix’s delicious Flavour Trail. Make stops at specialty farms producing upscale products used by Canada’s top chefs. Enjoy lunch on your own in charming Baie-Saint-Paul, but save room for dinner. After some time to browse the many shops and galleries, return to your auberge for a French Thanskgiving Feast. Oui, oui! (FB,D)

Day 5

En route to Québec City tour Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica. Notice the huge elaborate bronze doors. Later, you’ll visit the artist’s copper studio to learn about the craft. The countryside is dotted with old brick ovens along the roadside. What’s better than fresh hot crusty bread slathered with maple butter or jam? Not much! Except for lunch at the iconic Chateau Frontenac perched high on the bluff, followed by a walking tour of historic Lower Town Quebec. Your four-star hotel is located in a lively neighborhood in the heart of Old Quebec. Take your pick of restaurants or cafés located around the corner of hotel for dinner. Hotel Manoir Victoria – 2 nights (FB,L)

Day 6

A short drive takes you to Île d’Orleans, an island nestled in the St. Lawrence River. At a ciderie, taste an array of apple wines and products after lunch in a 1700s gristmill. Enjoy a gentle hike along the top of Montmorency Falls and peer down the face of the falls on a gondola ride to the base. Back in town, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dine, shop, or simply find a spot to sit and enjoy the lovely surrounds. (FB,L)

Day 7

We’re off to Montreal! Stroll along the cobblestones of Old Montreal with time for lunch on your own. During a guided tour, feel the peace and tranquility of Notre Dame Basilica. It’s a very special place! Take a rest at the hotel before a fantastic farewell dinner. Doubletree by Hilton Montreal – (FB,D)

Day 8

Board the motorcoach and take a spin through the city on a guided tour with picture stops along the way. The many varied and distinct neighborhoods give Montreal a decidedly cosmopolitan feel. Alas, it’s time to bid “Au revoir” to La Belle province of Québec and catch your flight home. (FB)
