Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival in Seattle, board the monorail to soar above the streets to the Space Needle. From 605 feet above, the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains are on full display. At Chihuly Garden and Glass, internationally acclaimed glass artist, Dale Chihuly’s energetic and whimsical work blends harmoniously with nature. Lunch features local Pacific Northwest fare. Arrive in lovely seaside Mukilteo with time to tour the historic lighthouse before dinner with a view. Silver Cloud Inn – Mukilteo – 2 nights (L,D)

Day 2

In the fertile Skagit Valley, visit two working flower farms. The family-owned Tulip Town’s display gardens showcase over 25 varieties of tulips, while RoozenGaarde’s large commercial operation creates ribbons of color stretching across the valley floor. Perhaps pick up some bulbs for your own garden! Lunch is in LaConner with time to browse the waterfront shops. Back in Mukilteo, your evening and dinner are at leisure. Ivar’s award-winning clam chowder is served up piping hot right next door to your hotel! (FB,L)

Day 3

Sail on a Washington State Ferry to Whidbey Island. Sweet Mona’s has all sorts of tasty chocolate confections available. Next, visit a specialty boutique with a vast selection of chocolate infused products such as jams, tea and scented candles. On Blueberry Hill overlooking the harbor, Chef Gordon has prepared you a delicious lunch. Cross the Puget Sound to the mainland and catch your early evening flight home. (FB,L)
