Day 2
The Portland Rose Festival’s signature event is the Grand Floral Parade (pictured), preceded by the coronation of the Festival Queen. Due to Portland’s unpredictable weather, the parade is routed through Memorial Coliseum. That’s where your seats are – always warm and dry, with a snack bar, restrooms and other “creature comforts” only steps away. Following, you’re off to the riverfront for some free time along the Festival Midway. Dinner served aboard a Willamette River yacht winds up your Rose Festival experience.
- Full breakfast and dinner are included this day.

Day 3
Depart for the “Emerald City” of Seattle via the Cascade, one of Amtrak’s most scenic routes. Lunch is served at the sound-view Cutters Bayhouse, located next door to Pike Place Market. After a bit of time for shopping (perhaps you’ll bring home a “flying fish”) return home via Seattle/Tacoma Airport.
- Full breakfast and lunch are included this day.
