Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Meet your car from Carey Transportation and then meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers at the airport before a quick one hour flight to Southern California. Your first stop is the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. Experience a luncheon buffet under the wings of President Reagan’s Air Force One jet prior to a special guided tour of the museum and library. Your 4-diamond accommodations are at the Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel. (L)
Day 2

This morning get a sneak peek at the parade floats with a privately guided tour. Learn about how these floats are made and watch them being assembled before your eyes. Lunch is included at the historic Tam O’Shanter, the restaurant that started the Lawry’s Prime Rib and Seasoned Salt empire. Hollywood is your final stop for the day as you visit the Silent Movie Theatre. Known for its rich history, you’ll enjoy several “old shorts” in this beautifully restored theater. Meet your Tour Director at your hotel for an “East Coast New Year’s Toast” before turning in. (B,L)
Day 3

Arise early this morning and enjoy an included breakfast at your hotel prior to departing for the 122nd Pasadena Rose Parade. This year’s theme is “Building Dreams, Friendships & Memories.” Our reserved seats are located right along Colorado Boulevard so you won’t miss any of the decorative floats or spectacular bands. A seat cushion and parade program are also included. Following lunch, your flight home returns you to Sacramento in the late afternoon. (L)
