Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Hop aboard SuperCoach III and head north for the Oregon border. Lunch is served en route to Medford, your first scenic stop. A behind-the-scenes tour of the huge Harry & David mail order facility will reveal the frenzy of the last shipping day before Christmas. Sample the bounty of the harvest at a special tasting at Harry & David’s Country Village before heading to the charming community of Ashland and your historic accommodations, conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Dinner is on your own giving you the opportunity to explore Ashland aglow in a bath of Christmas lights and holiday cheer. Ashland Springs Hotel – 3 nights (L)
Day 2

Visit nearby Jacksonville to learn the rich history of the area and have a bite of lunch. The matinee curtain at the Camelot Theatre presents the popular musical White Christmas for your holiday enjoyment, followed by the gala 5-course Christmas Eve Champagne Dinner at the Winchester Inn, a Sports Leisure favorite, complete with Dickens carolers and costumed servers. Anglican church services are available within a couple blocks of the hotel for anyone who is interested. (ECB,D)
Day 3

Merry Christmas! Our traditional celebration includes a holiday buffet served at the hotel, complete with storytelling, a gift exchange and musical entertainment by our very own New Christy Minstrels alumnae, Lori Brandon. After dark, take a ride around Medford for sensational Christmas lights and a cup of holiday cheer. (ECB,D)
Day 4

A late-morning departure and lunch served en route assures a restful ending to a perfect trip. Arrive in Sacramento in the late afternoon. (ECB,L)
