Day 1
Fly to Albany, arriving in late afternoon. After a quick dinner locally, it’s just over an hour’s drive to the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge. Once featured In a Norman Rockwell painting, it is one of the most picturesque settings in all of New England. Red Lion Inn – 2 nights (D)

Day 2
Spend the day exploring the Berkshires. A Christmas Tree Festival, the Norman Rockwell Museum and the quaint shops in the tiny town of Stockbridge will fill your day. You’ll enjoy lunch in a restaurant made famous in the old Arlo Guthrie song, “Alice’s Restaurant.” (L,D)

Day 3
Leaving Stockbridge, our destination is Springfield. Visit the headquarters of the Yankee Candle Co., a great opportunity to pick out a few holiday gifts. At the Salem Cross Inn, eat the best prime rib you’ve ever tasted and learn about how things were done in colonial days. Arrive in Newport, Rhode Island in mid-afternoon. Newport Marriott – 2 nights (ECB,L,D)

A morning tour shows you the original American high-society city of Newport. View many of the spectacular mansions from the outside this morning, view a couple from the inside this afternoon. Tour Marble House and The Breakers. A special dinner tonight brings you a piece of American history. (B,D)
