Here’s your chance to check-off one of those items on your bucket list! Experience the nation’s premier New Year’s Day event, the Tournament of Roses Parade, a day later! Because the parade can never be held on a Sunday, we will celebrate the New Year with the spectacular Salute to Vienna at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Special trips like this come along once in a lifetime. Our only wisdom would be to reserve early, because this trip is going to sell out very quickly and it cannot be duplicated. Not only will you get to meet Wayne Newton in person, but you will be entertained by another Las Vegas legend, Rich Little. Depart at 10 am on your morning flight to Las Vegas. The first day’s activities include lunch and a mid-afternoon visit to the Mob Museum, which will acquaint you with some of Vegas’ more “colorful” historical characters. Check into the Treasure Island Hotel for two nights on The Strip. Tonight, enjoy a 7 pm curtain for Rich Little, the popular impressionist, who is still going strong! Your morning is free for personal adventures the second day. We’ll gather for lunch at Grimaldi’s, a pizza parlor first made famous in Brooklyn, now found here on the west coast. Then we are off to Shenandoah, Wayne’s estate, to see the exotic animals, Arabian Horses and spectacular décor. During part of our stay at Shenandoah, we will be joined by Mr. Newton, who will perhaps share a story or two.
This is a private meet-and-greet, for our group only. Our final day is highlighted by a walking and gaming tour on Fremont Street (6 blocks), lunch at Sam’s Firelight Buffet, and a visit to Ethel M’s Chocolate Experience before our 4 pm flight home.

Key West has become one of our most popular destinations with our annual tour selling out every year, months ahead of departure. Key West is a pedestrian-friendly destination and, because of that, we walk to many attractions. For this reason, we do not recommend this tour for travelers with serious mobility issues.
This trip is a Sports Leisure Vacations’ favorite! And the focus is all about the Ahwahnee Hotel… recently re-named The Majestic Yosemite Hotel. But for this writer, and many others, it will always be the Ahwahnee!
Join our select group for a trip to the winter wonderland that is Yellowstone National Park. It’s an adventure you’ll never forget…
We’ve combined the best of this year’s Colorful Mystery Coast and our signature Colorful Carolina Coast itineraries into a new tour containing the highlights of both in a shorter format. It’s perfect for the first-time and return visitor alike!
Each spring the baseball fans in our midst make a pilgrimage to Arizona, where the “Boys of Summer” get ready for the season. We’ll catch a game every afternoon or evening, a total of 5 games in all. Generally, the Giants are the first priority and the A’s second. The schedules for the Cactus League in Spring Training are not finalized and announced until sometime in November/December, and those registered will be sent the schedule just as soon as it is finalized.
Each departure features Sunday Brunch at the Wrigley Mansion, and a dinner at Rustler’s Roost (a Sports Leisure tradition). The centrally located Marriott Hotel we call home provides a great buffet breakfast each morning. Tickets for the games are almost always located in the shade. You’ll see how important this tiny feature is once we get to Arizona and you see thousands of people unwilling to take their seats for the game because they are in the sun!
By registering early, you secure your space, guarantee your tickets and save a few dollars. We only purchase a few tickets over the number of people reserved when they become available, so those who wait risk getting shut out. Plus, this tour has sold out the last two years (hence the second departure this season). This is a “bucket list” item for many, and lots of fans repeat this trip on a regular basis. See you in Arizona!

Getaway to a beautiful retreat, nestled near the Columbia and the Cascade Mountains.
Just an hour’s drive from Portland, situated in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, is a majestic mountain lodge. Skamania, which opened in 1993, just seven years after Congress created the national scenic area, is a four-story Cascadian-style lodge. Some of the timbers used in the construction are over 100 years old. Come with us and discover this magical place in springtime, at the beginning of the season, when things are fresh and renewed.
