KGO Radio personality and former SF Chronicle’s “Inside Scoop” food writer GraceAnn Walden joins us on a history and food tour of one of San Francisco’s most popular destinations. America’s Cup on the Bay

Important Update! New rules regarding the construction of the racing boats has limited the number of participants in this year’s race. On Friday, June 7, the America’s Cup officials announced a new schedule and eliminated all formal racing dates until the middle of August.

At this time, no one from America’s Cup or the cruise line we are working with, can tell us exactly what might be happening on any given day in July. In addition, the dates we previously secured in August are no longer available to us.

The cruise company we are working with intends to operate some of the July cruises, in hopes of catching the competitors out on the course practicing. They are putting a narrator on board who can explain the America’s Cup, and the cruise will take you along the course itself. We cannot guarantee any of the competing boats will be on the water on the dates of the July cruises. That information will be announced each morning. If you would like to be a part of one of the July cruises, contact our office regarding availability/wait lists.

Inspiration Points: Masterpieces of California Landscape

OMCA opens the vaults to showcase the very best in California landscape art from the museum’s holdings, including works by Ansel Adams, Thomas Moran, and more. The exhibition explores the human presence on the landscape through approximately 60 of OMCA’s best landscape paintings, photographs, and works on paper. From majestic scenes of unspoiled wilderness to exploited lands and dystopic visions, the exhibition showcases how artists have interpreted the landscape at particular moments in time. Lunch is included at Kincaid’s on Jack London Square with a short visit to the Bonsai Garden at Lake Merritt.

Broadway Pops in the Pines
